KFin Technologies Limited has announced the launch of its new office in JBS Parade Ground Metro Station. The expansion is part of KFintech's strategy to diversify its real estate footprints by going hyper-local, taking work places closer to locations where the talent resides within Hyderabad-Secunderabad twin city region.
Spanning approximately 25,000 square feet on the second floor of the metro station, the new office is the second largest corporate space within a metro station in India. It is designed to accommodate 600 employees, supporting essential functions such as Issuer Solutions, Contact Center, and Business Support Functions.
The office premise also accommodates a new branch that provides end-to-end mutual fund services, enabling all kind of transactions including purchases, redemptions, switches, systematic investment plans (SIPs), systematic withdrawal plans (SWPs), and all kind of non commercial transactions requests. This will enhance accessibility and ease of investment for investors in the Secunderabad region, helping them to address their queries and concerns promptly and efficiently.\
Sreekanth Nadella, MD and CEO of KFin Technologies, said, "Hyderabad's emergence as a technology hub makes it an ideal location for innovative expansions. By establishing our new office at the JBS Parade Ground Metro Station, we are not decentralizing our talent by taking it locations where innovation thrives. The expansion is driven by our commitment to tapping into local talent pools and catalyzing growth across new business segments, which in turn drives our expansion across asset classes. Our presence here not only supports our growth ambitions but also enhances our operational efficiencies and connectivity, marking a significant step in our commitment to innovation and sustainability.”
L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (L&TMRHL), a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, played a crucial role in the strategic partnership with KFin Technologies for their new office. As part of its broader commitment to the Hyderabad Metro Rail project, initiated in 2010 under a Concession Agreement with the Government of Andhra Pradesh (now Telangana), L&TMRHL not only manages the metro's design, build, finance, operate, and transfer processes but also spearheads innovative Transit Oriented Development (TOD) initiatives. This includes the integration of commercial spaces such as the new KFintech office within the metro infrastructure, aimed at enhancing urban connectivity and sustainability.
KVB Reddy, MD and CEO of L&TMRHL, said, “The Hyderabad Metro is more than just a transit system – it's becoming a lifeline for businesses and communities. With KFin Technologies Limited (KFintech) joining our growing ecosystem at JBS Parade Ground Station, we are not just moving people but moving possibilities. This partnership between L&TMRHL & KFintech is a game-changer for urban connectivity and corporate growth, setting the stage for metro stations to be the next big business destinations. The future of mobility is here – and it’s full of opportunity.”
The new location enhances KFintech’s visibility in the region and makes it more accessible for investors and clients by bridging the twin cities. Its proximity to major intercity and intra-city bus stands, and a key railway station facilitates easy commutes and connects both the Green and Blue metro lines, substantially reducing travel times and supporting sustainability. The office’s eco-friendly design aligns with KFintech’s commitment to reducing carbon footprints through the utilization of public transport facilities available at the site. Additionally, innovative hot desking options have been introduced to boost employee productivity by reducing the need for frequent travel to the headquarters.
