Happy employees can create a productive and positive work environment. Moreover, such people are more dedicated to work and are eager to put in effort beyond their job descriptions.
It is the role of the leader not of the HR to make workplaces happy in the corporate world, Said P. Dwarkanth, former chairman, GSK Consumer Healthcare Ltd.
While addressing the BW Happiest Workplace Awards and Summit, he suggested to leaders that, small things can bring happiness so do it. It is not a question of whether you are young or old, the question is contextual, are you able to understand and interact with youngsters, and have you able to manage from “Mali to Malik” (Gardener to Owner)?
Also, Nath while addressing the employees, stated that, “Don’t compare yourself with others, set your own goals then only you can achieve and you need to compete with yourself.”
He concluded by saying that, “Happiness led to performance, not performance leads to happiness.”
