Integrating Teams In Diverse Cultures

A long-time TATA Group employee, she started her career with TCS in 1997. Nupur Singh Mallick, Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Tata Group, has worked across various HR functions like talent acquisition, organisational change management, compensation & benefits, as well as employee engagement policy and process development in multiple geographies.

Starting from mid-1990s, when she was recruited as an HR officer through a campus placement at Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi, Mallick, just kept growing with and within TCS. In 2018 she replaced S Padmanabhan who had been heading the HR function for past 18 months.

At XISS, she pursued her masters in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. Her areas of expertise include integrating teams in culturally diverse set-ups, driving operational excellence, retaining and developing talent and structuring compensation & benefits.
