Infosys, an Indian IT services company, will pay its employees an average of 80 per cent variable pay for the fiscal quarter ended June 30, which will be distributed along with their August salary.
The company announced this in an email to employees from the Human Resources team. The variable pay rollout follows "good performance" in the June quarter of FY24, according to the email.
Infosys reported an 11 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit for Q1FY24, totaling Rs 5,945 crore.
The company's email to employees stated that management was optimistic about the coming quarters.
"By staying focused on our priorities, collaborating closely across teams, and remaining adaptable to changing circumstances, we are confident in setting ourselves up for a productive and optimistic quarter ahead," the email went on to say, according to Business Today.
