Today the company have digitised multiple processes across Talent Acquisition, Payroll, HR Shared Services and spanning multiple geographies in EMEA, US & Asia leveraging multiple solutions varying from Robotics, custom apps to product enhancements. More importantly, the bigger impact was my role in shaping the culture within HR by engaging the larger team in a continuous learning process to challenge the way HR services are delivered, adopt the mindset to leverage technology, and ingrain these traits for the ADP HR team. Shilpa Kankaria talking about the development of various functions stated, “This has been possible due to the vision created by the HR Leaders at ADP.”
Over the past 8 years of my career with ADP, I have been leading the efforts towards identifying opportunities for digitization across the HR lifecycle covering over 30 geographies where ADP has a presence.
In this era of accelerated digitization; especially post-pandemic Kankaria elaborated the initiative and actions being taken at ADP. She as an HR leader has been a core team member for HR and led the efforts towards the application of robotics and product enhancements to multiple processes across Global HR Shared Services. Some of the solutions designed by the core team are today extended to ADP clients as well and have become go-to-market products generating revenue for ADP. This has contributed to accelerating ADP’s journey to gain a competitive advantage in the market and being a leader in the Human Capital Management (HCM) space.
ADP provides multiple opportunities for its Associates to participate in forums beyond work which helps in the holistic development of its employees. This includes multiple volunteering opportunities, toastmasters, sports, hobby clubs, diversity forums, stretch projects etc. Kankaria has been part of the education support for the marginalized section of our society and teaches advanced communication skills to graduate engineering students. This has been a humbling learning experience and ADP has involved leaders who further encourage Associates to contribute to their passion.
The pandemic is a major surprise for everyone worldwide, at ADP leaders have accepted and took the pandemic as an opportunity to evaluate each associate policy to be relevant to the current times and introduced the total revamp of existing policies to ensure ADP provides the best HR practices for associates, given the new normal.
