Hiring Spree: Fintech Startup Slice Aims To Recruit 800 People In 2022

Fintech startup, Slice, announced its plan to hire nearly 800 Employees in various positions in its operations, design and product verticals over the next year.

It said that the Company is a leader in its market and plans to increase its hiring capacity by at least 2x per year through 2022.

Slice’s founder and CEO Rajan Bajaj stated in a statement that Slice is always looking for new talent.

He said, “We intend to hire nearly 800 people before the end of next-year with a particular focus on building, growing and maintaining our product, operations and design teams.”

According to the Company, the focus of the new Employees will be on scaling up the card product as well as the upcoming UPI integration.

In 2022, at least 40% of new Employees will join the engineering, product, and operations departments.

Bajaj stated that Genz and Millennials are problem solvers with a steep learning curve.

He said, “They don’t hesitate to challenge the status-quo making them an ideal fit for Slice where we are at the cusp revolutionising India’s credit and payment space.”
