The central government has taken steps to assist HEC (Heavy Engineering Corporation) employees and officials. On Monday, BJP leader Vinay Jaiswal urged the Ministry of Heavy Industries and senior management to grant a three-month salary in light of major festivals such as Diwali and Chhath. However, an agreement for a two-month salary has been reached with the ministry and management. It has been confirmed that HEC employees and officials will be paid for two months in the next two days.
According to Jaiswal, discussions have taken place regarding the smooth operation of HEC. There were also discussions about launching Provident Fund (PF) and medical insurance as soon as possible. Furthermore, it has been decided that a high-level meeting will be held next week to explore avenues for HEC's brighter future. It's worth noting that HEC employees are owed approximately 21 months' pay, which has resulted in ongoing protests and demonstrations.
