Harish Iyer Promoted To Sr. VP | D&I Head At Axis Bank

Axis Bank has promoted Harish Iyer to Sr. VP | D&I Head.

Iyer's association with Axis bank dates back to 3 decades. Prior to his association with Axis, he was a columnist at The Quint, as well as at DNA prior to Quint.

According to Iyer's Linkedin bio, he is a popular voice for equal rights especially for his work for children and lgbtqia people and has even been instrumental in the decriminalization of homosexuality in the country that helped millions of individuals from the queer community live freely.

Iyer has strived hard to make the world more inclusive! He has always ensured that everyone at Axis Bank and Axis Group feels valued and respected.

He is the only Indian national in the Guardian's world pride power list, a list of 100 most influential lgbt people in the world. He also cares deeply about mental wellness. “Based on my own experience with peer counselling, I had set up a mental wellness team of professionals who offer support. We want everyone at Axis Bank to feel happy and healthy,” states Iyer.
