After a few employees missed the morning meeting, CEO of a US-based company fired nearly his whole staff, not just one or two. Baldvin, who was clearly upset, sent a direct Slack message informing the staff to "get the f*** out of his business" in order to announce the mass firing.
“For those of you who did not show up to the meeting this morning, consider this your official notice: you’re all fired," the CEO told his employees in a Slack message sent to a group named “9-3 pm All the Musicians Club".
He further stated, “You failed to do what you agreed to, you failed to complete your part of the contract, and you failed to show up to the meetings you were supposed to attend and work for."
“I will cancel all agreements between us. Please return anything you have, sign out of all accounts, and remove yourself from this Slack immediately," Baldvin further instructed his employees.
He emphasised that he had offered his employees a chance to “make their lives better", but they’ve clearly failed to seize it. “You have shown me that you don’t take this seriously," he added.
“Out of 110 people, only 11 were present this morning. Those 11 get to stay. The rest of you are terminated," Baldvin stated bluntly on Slack.
The intern claimed to have joined the company as an intern but was let go an hour later, sharing a screenshot of the CEO's Slack chat.
