The Nitish Kumar Govt. announced a bonus for all the healthcare workers to appreciate their tireless efforts to combat the Coronavirus as the second wave grips the nation.
“Bihar government has decided to provide bonus salary of one month to all healthcare workers this year also,” Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said along with announcing night curfews and restrictions on large gatherings in Bihar. Bihar joins the list of states imposing curfews and strict mandates such as Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, etc.
To tackle the second wave of the pandemic Bihar Govt. also announced various restrictions in the state. All cinema halls, malls, clubs, gyms and parks will remain shut till May 15. The night curfew will be imposed across the state from 9 pm till 5 am.
As reported all the schools, colleges and other educational institutes will remain close. No examinations will be conducted till 15 May. All religious places will also remain closed in Bihar till May 15. No more than 25 people will be allowed at funerals, while only 100 people will be permitted to attend weddings while adhering to COVID protocols.
