Awign, an India-based Work-As-A-Service platform, has revealed a strategic acquisition of a majority stake in an all-cash transaction from Mynavi Corporation, a leading HR and lifestyle information media company in Japan.

With this majority stake purchase, Awign aims to concentrate on long-term strategic expansion and deeper value generation, independent of the fundraising market conditions.

The collaboration with Mynavi is poised to assist Awign in three primary areas: assembling a high-caliber talent pool, bolstering brand visibility domestically and internationally, and investing in technology to enhance its digital infrastructure and develop superior platforms. These initiatives will propel Awign's endeavors to engage and cater to a broader spectrum of global enterprise clientele.

Founded in 2016 by IIT alumni Annanya Sarthak, Gurpreet S Khurana, and Praveen Kumar Sah, Awign has earned distinction as India's premier work-as-a-service platform.

Annanya Sarthak, Co-Founder & CEO of Awign, expressed, "This partnership will enable Awign to amplify its operational scope and transcend its core competencies. Our primary objective remains the fortification of our growth trajectory by enrolling enterprise customers worldwide and introducing new categories in the HR domain."

Hidekazu Ito, Managing Director of Mynavi Solutions India, a subsidiary of Mynavi Corporation, commented on the alliance, stating, "Our collaboration with Awign is not merely strategic but also underscores our mutual dedication to effecting substantial social change. The alignment of our visions empowers us to address HR sector challenges more effectively."

The co-founder further underscored the significant enhancement of their technological infrastructure. "Our aim is to cultivate a platform where enterprise customers can seamlessly manage tasks across thousands of cities in India via a unified interface, eliminating the need for direct engagement with personnel. This platform will streamline operations while also providing continuous earning opportunities and fostering professional development for workers, enabling them to tackle increasingly intricate tasks."
