Jacob Jacob has been named the Group Chief Human Resources Officer (GCHRO) at Aster DM Healthcare, based in Dubai, UAE. He joins Aster DM Healthcare after serving as Group CHRO at Malabar Group since April 2021, where he oversaw the people function for the group, with a focus on its gems and jewellery business.
Jacob brings a wealth of expertise in performance management, the development of reward systems (including ESOP), career planning, competency mapping, change management, HR strategy, organizational design, restructuring, and people transformation initiatives aimed at driving enterprise growth.
With a career spanning 26 years across various international markets and industries, including aviation, healthcare, hospitality, and the luxury goods and jewellery sectors, Jacob now returns to the healthcare industry.
He has previously held key leadership positions at Emirates Airline, Oberoi Realty, Apollo Hospitals and Columbia Asia Healthcare.
