According to a report on the Australian Financial Review website, ANZ employees' annual performance reviews and bonuses will be linked to office attendance.
ANZ managers informed their respective teams about the new policy in generic emails this week, reiterating the bank's expectation that employees spend at least half of their working hours in the office each month.

However, a recent decision by the Fair Work Commission, an independent Australian government agency responsible for regulating workplace relations such as wages, working conditions, and employee rights, backed bosses' rights to reclaim workers to the office post the pandemic.
