Airtel And Vodafone Idea Reward 7-8% Salary Hikes And Up To 110% Bonuses

Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have rewarded their workforce with a 7 to 8 per cent salary hike for the financial year 2023.

The telecommunication companies have also announced up to 110 per cent bonuses for their employees in order to retain and acquire the top talent in the industry.

The salary hikes are estimated to be lower than the expectation of the 10 to 12 per cent range.

While Airtel has provided top talent with 110 per cent bonus, Vodafone Idea followed with 100 per cent bonus.

The low rate of increments seems to be mainly due to telecommunication companies taking the recovery route to their pre-pandemic levels.

Reliance Jio, the market leader has yet not announced any such increments or bonuses for this fiscal year.
