Air India Express, AIX Connect Revise Compensation & Benefits Structure
On 25 August, Air India Express and AIX Connect announced the implementation of new grades, remuneration and benefits across the organisation in order to attract and retain top-tier employees. According to a statement, the announcement is "another significant step" towards their merger and integration.
The new system will streamline grades and career paths, allowing for greater transparency and professional advancement chances for all employees. It will be integrated with the newly implemented structure and grades at Air India, according to the statement.
"The new compensation for Air India Express and AIX Connect is a significant step forward in ensuring that the airlines' remuneration and benefits are market-competitive and make the airline one of the most preferred employers in the travel and tourism sector." AIXL now connects 14 regional international destinations from 20 Indian cities, while AIXC serves 19 domestic destinations.
