7th Pay Commission To Boost Salaries Of NDMC Workers

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) employees will be paid in accordance with the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. The case has been pending for seven years. For this, NDMC employees were also running a constant campaign. 

Kuljit Chahal, an NDMC member, stated that whether 4500 Regular Must Roll (RMR) employees be regularized or compassionate employees be given jobs, NDMC is constantly engaged in this work.

Chahal stated that all NDMC departments' employees will benefit from the Seventh Pay Commission's pay rates.

It is worth noting that NDMC has 11,000 retired employees and 11,000 regular staff. It will be beneficial to all employees. Previously, the DTL pay scale was accessible in NDMC.

The central government incorporated the NDMC in the Seventh Pay Commission when it was implemented across the country. The employees had gone to court about it, and the Union Home Ministry had also given its opinion. It is presently being implemented as a result of this.
