Winning Stroke: Interview With Harish Khatri, Founder India Assist

If not in the current profession, you would be?

Film Director (And I haven't given up on that. I'm not sure I want to die before directing a movie!)

One tune you always hum.

Tu na jaane aas pass hai khuda. (I certainly believe also in it)

One book to read when you want to motivate yourself.

The Alchemist (I have read this book long time back but it has got stuck somewhere in my mind and keep inspiring me)

One dialogue of a movie that motivates you or you like the most.

Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies. (Shawshank Redemption)

The place you never been to and always want to go.

Cape-Town - Where two Oceans meet!

An animal that signifies you & why?

A brave Phoenix who knows how to rise every time he is burnt to ashes.

A Movie Character you most resemble or resonate with:

Cobb in movie Inception - I resonate with him at many levels and learnt a lot about myself by knowing Cobb while watching Inception multiple times.

If your life was to be turned into a movie who would you like to play your part?

Some rookie. Unknown actor willing to make his mark.

Luck or Hard Work, what do you think weighs more in defining a successful person?

Luck favours the brave - no!! Persistent hard work creates its own luck, this is what I always believe.

One best decision you ever made.

Commitment to myself that I will not do anything without being first prepared for it.

A strategy that you always use to take your decisions in Personal or Professional life.

Visualizing the effects of my decisions in time to come. If what I see, gives my confidence I commit myself 100% to it, even if odds are heavily against the decisions, I will go full throttle.

Whose advice do you seek when in a dilemma?

I go back to my meditation. Every clarity I may seek comes from there only

What has been your biggest achievement?

I haven't encountered the biggest challenge of my life yet. I think biggest achievement needs to come from overcoming that.

One thing that you want to change in yourself.

Procrastinate. I would want to change it but again procrastination doesn't let me do it!

A line said by your closed one that you never forget?

He is an all-weather friend! I try to live up to it more after listening to it.
