The COVID-19 Pandemic compelled not only every individual to change their lifestyle but even the workplaces of organisations. So, experts in their conversation exchange their views on the prospects of workplaces post-Covid19.
Omkar Pradhan, Associate Director-People, Culture and Talent -Gokwik stated how things have changed from working in physical presence before the pandemic to working remotely during the pandemic and now the hybrid mode. He emphasized that future workplaces will be in hybrid mode and 41 per cent of organisations across the world are now offering the hybrid work culture to their employees which is twenty per cent more than pre- covid era.
Ruhi Bhavsar, Head of Human Resources - iBASEt started the discussion with the talent landscape in future and how organisations can make smooth onboarding of their employees in hybrid mode. She shared three steps of the talent landscape in future Hiring, Pre-boarding and Onboarding. She further added that how hiring process has changed now and due to job losses during the pandemic, the demand for jobs also increased and how companies are looking more for contract-based workers than Permanent workers.
