Jobs are generated as per the demand of trends and changing technology is making the life span of a job short, as one skill gets outdated once it goes out from the trend. Corporate India faces new challenges in training and grooming employees to meet business demand in future

Talking about the changing scenario of the market, Sapnesh Lalla, CEO and Executive Director, NIIT said change is an opportunity for small companies to grow high and surpass big giants.

The process of training and grooming employees has totally changed, as trends are changing swiftly with growing technological advancement. A training session can be an effective method at times but not always, training comes through learning which comes with work experience, Lalit Mehta, CEO & Co-Founder, of Decimal Technologies commented on the training process.

"We are treating training as a crucial part of work as it helps employees to finish their work easily but we have observed that employees feel as if management has imposed another task on them," said Sameer Malhotra, Director & CEO, Shriram Automall India Limited while discussing on importance of training.

The world is one platform now, the line is blurring between the virtual and real world so the training has become more about experiencing than learning and it is important for employees as well to train themselves from a suitable platform to be with the trend, Pranav Sharma, General Partner of Woodstock Fund shared his views on why grooming is important for employee as well.
