TN Govt To Hire 1,500 Secondary Grade Teachers

According to a government directive issued on Thursday, the school education department will appoint 1,500 secondary grade teachers to elementary and middle schools around the state of Tamil Nadu. Surplus teachers in districts will be transferred to cover openings in other districts, according to the decree.

According to the order, there are 8,643 secondary grade teacher openings in the state's government elementary and middle schools. In August of last year, the department authorised the hiring of 1,000 teachers. While the announcement for the Teachers' Recruitment Board's examinations was not made public, the department has already authorised the hiring of 500 extra teachers.

The primary education directorate should also ensure that surplus instructors in some districts are sent to replace vacancies in schools with more than 100 kids, according to the report. Newly hired teachers should be assigned to districts with at least five years of vacancy (Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, and Vellore).
