Ahead of World Youth Skills Day, Tata Technologies has collaborated with several state governments, non-profit organisations and educational institutions in India to equip future engineers with new skills. Through the programme, 24,500 students will transform into modern technology hubs amid industry 4.0 emergence.
Programmes such as iGETIT and TechVarsity powered by Tata Tech aims to train more than 12,000 engineers towards upskilling and cross-learning to stay abreast of industry trends. Through the collaboration, 400 traditional ITIs and CIIITs will be transformed.
Through several other initiatives, the company has upskilled over 35,000 future engineers and 3,000 teachers across the country. The comprehensive teaching training programme has been running for over 18 months.
