Tata Power Renewable Energy is planning to expand the workforce in the upcoming fiscal year. The company has announced hiring for 2500 roles in various profiles to meet the manpower needs in the number of projects that are lined up.
To put things in perspective, the company has made cumulative investments of Rs 22,555 crore in renewable energy and the total renewable energy portfolio stands at 4,008 MW. Of this, renewables make up more than 22 per cent of its domestic generation portfolio. Thermal power generation, on the other hand, stands at 50,803.7 million units, which contributes to around 5 per cent of the total generation.
To support the growth of India’s renewable energy ecosystem, the company has, in partnership with the government of India, established a clean energy lab that serves as an incubator for startups, entrepreneurs and innovators offering “lab to market” support in clean energy solutions.
