Sushanth Tharappan Takes Charge As New HR Head Of Infosys

Infosys witnesses a second change among the top management of the human resources department in 2023. Sushanth Tharappan is set to replace Richard Lobo as the HR Head of the organisation.

Lobo held the position for a span of six years and has now been moved to work directly under Chief Executive, Salil Parikh.

Prior to this, Tharappan worked as the Senior Vice President at the organisation heading the Infosys Leadership Institute initiative for four consecutive years. He was responsible for team development through several leadership training programs and workshops, also addressing succession planning.

Tharappan, comes in with an experience of over two decades and has previously held the position of Chief People Officer at Edgeverve.

In March 2023, Infosys announced the onboarding of veteran Shaji Mathew as the global HR head replacing Krishnamurthy Shankar, former group HR head.
