Sudipto Mandal Takes Over As CHRO Of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has promoted Sudipto Mandal to the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Head of HR for L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Limited (L&TMRHL). In this new role, he will oversee the entire HR function for L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad), ensuring that HR strategies align with organisational objectives and fostering effective talent management and employee development.

As a key member of the leadership team, he will report directly to the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO). His elevation is a testament to his extensive experience and leadership in the HR field, which spans over 25 years.

Mandal joined L&T in August 2023 as Head – HR for Group Strategic HR Initiatives. His career has seen him in senior HR roles across several esteemed organisations, including Eveready Industries, Oracle, BEA Systems, Asian Paints, Spencer’s Retail, ZEISS Group, and Star Cement.

L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Limited (L&TMRHL) is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) created by Larsen & Toubro to implement the Hyderabad Metro Rail Project.
