Learning strategy is an integral part of the business strategy, where learning is an important input to the business planning process. Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. has secured a top position for the L & D Strategy of the Year at BW HR L&D Excellence Summit and Awards 2021, on the 27th February 2021. The Learning Model as well has gone through a shift from a 70:20:10 to a 20:30:50 wherein the focus is not only on formal and social learning, but the 50% of learning is owned and managed by business to take ownership of on the job learning and ensuring employees are given action learning projects to further enhance their capability.

Masterclasses by external Subject Matter Experts on the multitude of topics ranging from Design Thinking to the Power of One to business acumen amongst others, Insighter Service - The session insights bring to the fore the resurgence of advertising, the credibility of Print, need for speed to adapt to the changing Consumption and Behavioural patterns of consumers, resilience on the part of businesses. Self-learning - modules across all levels and functions available on the LMS for colleagues to learn at their own pace in their own space.

The Pandemic caused disruptions that were never seen before. As a safe, caring, and ethical organization, there was a need for significant measures, to ensure the balance of every stakeholder's mind, body, and soul and enable simultaneous work, workforce, and workplace transformation. And, as a proactive Learning team, there was an immediate responsibility and opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the crisis, address apprehensions while ensuring business continuity.
