Samsung Electronics Elevates Rishabh Nagpal To Chief People Officer

Samsung Electronics, a global technology leader, has appointed Rishabh Nagpal as Chief People Officer (CPO) for its operations in India.

Nagpal has been a part of Samsung Electronics since 2014, serving most recently as Senior Director of HR. He announced his new role on LinkedIn, expressing his pleasure at the promotion.

With over 25 years of extensive experience in HR leadership across diverse industries including IT, telecom, and consumer sales, Nagpal brings a wealth of expertise to his new position. He has demonstrated proficiency in various HR functions such as Total Rewards, Performance Management, Talent Management, and HR Transformation. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in HR strategy formulation and execution in collaboration with CXOs.

Before joining Samsung, Nagpal held significant roles at prominent organizations such as Huawei Telecommunication (India), IBM, Tech Mahindra, Dell Perot Systems, and Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. At Honda, he was instrumental in establishing the HR framework and played a key role in the organisation's setup in India.

Nagpal holds an MBA in HR from Delhi School of Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. His diverse background and extensive experience position him well to drive Samsung Electronics' people strategy forward in India.
