LTI Mindtree Delaying Onboarding Process For Freshers Alleges Labour Union

Pune-based labour union for IT employees has criticised LTI Mindtree for introducing a new training program IGNITE for freshers. Harpreet Singh Saluja, President - Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate NITES believes that making the training module mandatory for freshers is a step to delay the onboarding of new joinees.

The labour union has demanded that LTI Mindtree to immediately stop the practice and respect the rights of the freshers who have already been waiting for an extended period of time. 

Fearing that it may set a dangerous precedent for future recruitment practices, Saluja says, "we stand in solidarity with all the IT sector employees during these challenging economic times. 

As per Saluja, the IT company has witheld offer letters dating back to January 2022.

The company has not released any clarification on the allegations made by the labour union.
