Indian IT services company Infosys has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Saudi Arabian oil company Aramco to create digitally connected employee experiences using artificial intelligence (AI).
As agreed between the parties, Infosys will set up an innovation lab in Aramco's headquarters in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, to undertake research and development activities. Enhancing employee productivity and eliminating redundancy in HR operations are the key drivers behind this collaboration.
From letting employees, manage their work schedules to help employees achieve their career goals, companies, globally, have been using chatbots and AI-powered tools to create a personalized experience for their employees. Although HR managers in India are seen as slow when it comes to adopting HR tech and AI-powered tools, the news of Infosys collaborating with a foreign company might just be the beginning of a trend that many companies might follow.
