Managing Director of Blue Star, Mr. B Thiagarajan, believes that there is a substantial degree of digital penetration in the HR management ever since Independence. There are four distinct changes that are happening in his opinion.
First one being scale which talks about the growth aspirations of India. The second one being digital penetration which will impact day employment or new skills required in the enrolment, third one being sustainability which is connected with the vision of the company and fourth one being the speed with which it is all happening.
He said, “According to me the paradigm of HR needs to be based on these four factors being scale, digital penetration, sustainability and speed.”
Talking about challenges that would prevail in coming years for an HR, he said that hiring, existing plan lagging future needs, the culture fit and retaining and attracting an employee are going to be the most important challenges.
