Amidst the ongoing resignation and layoff wave, Hirect has sacked nearly 200 people which is 40 per cent of the total workforce.
In the name of organizational restructuring and strategic change in its business model, Hirect laid off these employees. This has further provoked the brand to slowdown its new hiring as well.
The co-founder further claims to be expediting the process the best way they can by clearing the dues and outstanding. A few employees anonymously told a known publication that they were being forced to do resign from their respective positions in mid-October.
One of the employees has shared that the management failed to keep the promise of providing severance pay and job search assistance.
