HCL Tech Faces Complaint Over Salary Reduction

HCL Tech faces complaint over changes to EPB policy.  The policy change essentially means reduction in bonus to employees while modifying the terms of variable pay to certain employees.

"This sudden policy change has caused significant monetary losses for the affected employees. We believe that HCL Technologies has violated its commitment to its workforce and has acted unethically by reducing their salaries through this revised EPB policy", said NITES, a employee union advocating the rights of employees in the IT sector. 

"We have filed a complaint with the Labour Ministry to ensure appropriate action is taken to safeguard the interests of IT employees. We demand that HCL Technologies reconsider this policy change and uphold their commitment to their employees' well-being and financial stability", the employee union further said.
