Gen AI Training To Almost 50% Of TCS Employee Base

TCS on Friday said it has trained 3.5 lakh employees in generative AI skills.

"With over 350,000 employees trained on foundational skills in GenAI, TCS is well-poised to build one of the largest AI-ready workforces in the world," an official statement said.

TCS became the first technology-oriented company in 2023 to create a seperate AI segment and cloud to address the growing needs of customers for cloud and AI adoption.

Further the technology giant is planning on including application of GenAI to enhance customer experience for airlines
including aspects like; natural conversation, information about flight delays or cancellations, etc. The statement also added that GenAI capabilities at TCS will also be able to streamline and simplify the contract review process.
