Former Zee Media CHRO Ruchira Srivastava Invests In Leadership Upskilling

Ruchira Srivastava, Former Group CHRO of Zee Media Corporation has recently obtained certification in Advanced Strategy and Leadership Program from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. 

“I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed the Advanced Strategy and Leadership Program at The Wharton School. This immersive experience has enriched my strategic thinking and leadership capabilities significantly,” she shared on LinkedIn. 

The programme helps equip leaders with advanced strategic thinking skills, enhancing the ability to align functional initiatives with overall business objectives. 

Additionally, she will be pursuing a CHRO programme from Cornell University, New York. 

Bringing nearly twenty years of experience, Srivastava led Zee Media's HR department for over a decade. Starting as Assistant VP in April 2013, she ascended to Head HR in October 2015, and most recently assumed the role of CHRO in April 2021.

With a track record spanning across the media, pharmaceutical and IT sectors, Srivastava has spearheaded comprehensive HR interventions for strategic business units, driving robust growth both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
