Experts Discuss Scalable, Feasible And Sustainable HR Practice At Summit

As the modern-day workforce is getting more complex in terms of their behaviors and attitudes, it becomes important for the HR personnel to start developing scalable, feasible and sustainable HR practices. To discuss and deliberate some of these practices a panel discussion took place at the 5th HR Excellence Summit and Awards.

Sudhir Mishra, Founder and Managing Partner, Trust Legal was the session chair. Harshwardhan, CEO, CXDE Partners LLP said “The connect between the employee and the top management is very critical. If that is lost then it becomes very difficult. The technology can help in maintaining this connect.”

According to Jayaram Easwaran, Author and Management Consultant an organization is nothing but the values and ethos of the top man. While CEO drives the company, the HR person should drive the CEO as far as the people practices are involved. “People stay in an organization if they feel that the management is fair. The moment you feel in the company that your work and worth is not being recognized in terms of continuation, then it becomes difficult”, asserted Harshwardhan.

Giving an example of his own organization Jayaram suggested that in any organization there should not be two different yardsticks. The same rule must be followed for everyone from the peon to the CEO to develop a happy organization.
