Deloitte Fires An Employee On Account Of Running A Hacking Firm

Post the success of a sting operation being run by The Sunday Times and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism on pulling out the exposed India-based hacking groups targeting VIPs globally, Aditya Jain, an associate director with Delottie’s cyber unit has been caught in this sting. He was found running a hacking firm with the name WhiteInt, according to the report.

Deloitte further commented on this report stating that they have fired Jain on account of running this hacking firm as a sideline business.

The business is known to have been running on account of the ask from journalist seeking inside information from the email and computers of key personalities.

The hacking firm’s database is said to have included confidential information pertaining to former Pakistan President Musharraf, Swiss President Ignazio Cassis, former UK chancellor Philip Hammond, and former Pakistan minister Fawad Chaudhry, among others.

Jain, who was cited as speaking to the undercover reporters, had joined Deloitte in February 2022 and was earlier employed with the cyber unit of another Big Four firm until March 2021.
