Borzo announced on Thursday that it has onboarded 4,000 delivery riders in its fleet in the last two months, boosting company's delivery capabilities.
This has further lead to a total on 11per cent increase in company's workforce.
According to Borzo India's General manager Eugene Panfilov this years festivities has garnered uttmost attention as the festivals have been celebrated on full swing after a gap of almost 2 years. Therefore, "the expectation from this year’s festive season from Diwali to Christmas will be robust demand. We expect the orders to continue to grow at X2 speed compared previous festive years."
“Naturally, there is intense competition across sectors to onboard maximum delivery partners and keep the fleet order-ready and response time low. At Borzo, we are ramping up our fleet for B2B verticals to assist D2C and e-commerce brands successfully and efficiently cater to strong demands. We have achieved a strong growth of 11 percent in our backbone, the gig have achieved a strong growth of 11 percent in our backbone, the gig workforce," stated Panilov.
