The past week has seen several dark stores remaining shut for the online grocery store.
Media reports say that delivery partners are not happy with the new pay structure that was rolled out by the company a few days ago. The new payout structure is target based and may result in less earnings for the delivery partners as compared to the old model.
However, few other reports have also claimed that the Zomato-backed startup has chosen a compensation model that is beneficial for all the stakeholders and delivery partners have an opt-in option for the new scheme.
Blinkit is a grocery and e-commerce platform that works on the instant delivery model in India and currently delivers over 2,00,000 orders every day as per the company.
