Atypical Advantage, launches Atypical Academy, an inclusive skill development platform aimed at upskilling individuals with disabilities to improve their chances of accessing their dream job. The Academy aims to bridge the skill gaps faced by many candidates with disabilities who often encounter accessibility issues during their academic journey.

Atypical Academy addresses the gap in inclusive education by offering screen reader-friendly content, sign language support, and industry-experienced trainers to make candidates job-ready and bridge the upskilling divide.

Atypical Academy partners with over 300+ organizations to ensure the curriculum meets industry standards. They continuously take feedback from the corporate Learning & Development teams to customize the content & train candidates for the evolving job scenarios. The Academy oversees candidate mobilization, training, and certification, ensuring a seamless transition from training to employment.

The Academy offers a diverse range of training programs, including Train and Hire Model, full-time training courses in AWS, Soft Skills, Communication, English Grammar, and Interview Preparation, workshops, mock interviews, and an E-learning platform providing access to over 8,000 online courses from platforms like Coursera, Edx, and Udemy, covering topics such as Accounting, IT, Digital Marketing, and Graphic Design.

The Academy's first physical center was opened in Ahmedabad because of its proximity to the Sanand cluster, a key area for industry partnership and employment opportunities. Expansion plans include new centers in Chennai and Bangalore, with training soon commencing in Bangalore. Having successfully trained more than 2,000 learners, the Academy has proven its capabilities and aims to scale its impact significantly, aspiring to train 100,000 learners by 2030. Furthermore, the Academy plans to forge partnerships with NGOs to extend its training programs nationwide.
