Amazon Lays Off 500 Employees In India: Reports
Although e-commerce giant Amazon has not confirmed the news but it has been widely reported that the Jeff Bezos-owned company has put curtains on Amazon Digital Kendras In India which were primarily meant for offering support to sellers. If reports are to be believed the layoff will impact 500 employees in India.
With no official confirmation surrounding the development, the possibility of revamping the said Digital Kendras cannot be denied.
It is pertinent to mention that ever since Amazon announced the mass layoffs earlier this year, the impact of the development is seen in many verticals of the e-commerce giant.
In such a scenario, only time will tell, how Amazon successfully restructures its operations across verticals given the present macroeconomic variables.
