As per the recent survey report by Colliers India, 63 percent of corporate firms are fine with working in hybrid mode. These corporations are ready to assemble more flexibility in the working pattern of the employees. Colliers India surveyed the office occupiers to understand the cause and factor to own this flexibility. This survey took place in between May-June 2022 across various segments and among them 200 responses were received. The participants who were involved in the survey were Small-sized (less than 500 employees), mid-sized (501-5000 employees) and large-sized firms (over 5,000 employees).
Colliers India in their report said "Three days a week in the office seems to be the most popular mode, furthering business goals and at the same offering work-life balance to employees," 28 percent of the occupiers chose 5 days while 9 percent went with all days working remotely.
The CEO of Colliers India, Ramesh Nair said "Interestingly, about one-third of the occupiers surveyed revealed that their productivity increased by 5-10 per cent with hybrid working. Offices are now evolving into centres of collaboration and innovation, with the wellbeing of employees at the core,". As per the survey, 26 per cent of occupiers are preferring 3 days a week, 17 per cent 4 days a week, 9 per cent 2 days a week and 11 per cent one day a week.
Many leading companies of the world also planning to go with the hybrid mode such Apple Inc but subsequently employed filed a petition against the authorities by claiming that Work From home was more productive for them.
CEO Nair further added "A hybrid work style needs to be supported by apt technological intervention to ensure seamless collaboration and communication,".
