We enable the same for our students through our domain-specific, industry-endorsed programs that are co-designed, co-delivered and co-certified by our industry partners.”
“At UPES we understand and emphasize to our students that a degree is simply an ‘eligibility’ and not a ‘guarantee’ for a job. We stress on ‘overall employability’ of our students by equipping them with updated domain knowledge and the essential soft skills”, he further added.
While Indian IT sector is witnessing job cuts owing to digitization and automation, there is distinct strong demand for IT professionals with futuristic specializations. Interestingly, UPES has hit a record 100% placements of its IT & Computer Science engineering students who were eligible and opted for placements. In fact, both the number of recruiters as well as the compensation offered has consistently increased over the last three years.
In another noteworthy development, a UPES B. Tech student got accepted by the Indian Army after clearing written examination and service interview.
