Remote, a leader in building, managing and supporting global distributed workforces, today announced the availability of its first-to-market API solution in India. In the post-pandemic world, Indian companies are the biggest recruiter of remote international workers in the APAC region. About 50 per cent of Indian small-to-medium businesses are planning to hire 40-60 per cent full-time employees or contractors from other countries in the next 12 months (according to recent research by IDC sponsored by Remote).
The Remote API is built for software partners to embed the global employment solution directly within their platforms, giving the companies they serve the ability to effortlessly hire employees globally, pay their teams in local currencies and remain compliant with local regulations. Through a customisable integration, partners can support their customers’ workforce needs in multiple countries all within their own platform, enabling them to scale more efficiently. Remote’s customers can also use the solution to build custom integrations to securely sync their employee and contractor data between Remote and their HR tools of choice.
“For modern companies, building a high-performance team requires an ability to acquire the best talent globally” said Chris McNamara, Chief Revenue Officer at Remote. “The Remote API makes it possible for our partners to immediately offer their customers the ability to hire anywhere around the world. We’ve meticulously built all the employment infrastructure and compliance knowledge so that our partners and their customers can simply plug in and focus on their core business”.
The solution can be tailored based on each partner’s individual needs, from simple builds to existing processes such as annual leave management, through to a fully embedded, white-labeled solution to manage the entire global employment lifecycle directly from the partner’s platform.
Remote recently partnered with Gusto, a leader in payroll, benefits, and HR serving more than 300,000 businesses in the United States, to launch a solution enabling customers to hire, pay, and manage international employees, quickly and compliantly.
