Commenting on his appointment, Nakul Beri said, “Waterfield is a stellar example of a client-centric multi-family office advisory firm that has attained pole position in the Indian landscape in a very brief time frame. I look forward to working with Soumya and the team to build a world-class, conflict-free wealth advisory practice built on integrity, trust and keeping clients at the centre of all that we do. It is indeed a privilege to be here, and I look forward to building a world class firm.”
“We have seen significant interest from NRIs as well as large global family offices to access India’s promising investment opportunities. At the same time Indian business families understand the importance of a globally diversified portfolio and are looking for advisors that can help them evaluate complex products and challenging jurisdictions. Along with our collaboration with Zephyr Management, bringing on Nakul to lead the global wealth advisory mandate strengthens our offering for both onshore to offshore and vice versa by leveraging his immense experience and knowledge of the space. I am excited to see how this unfolds for us”, said Soumya Rajan, Founder and CEO, Waterfield Advisors.
