MassMutual India’s Campus Outreach program, in collaboration with its Talent Management team, has partnered with Telangana State Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society(TSWREIS) to bring to the fore the potential of candidates from underprivileged society, especially girls.
Ravi Tangirala, Head of MassMutual India, said, “It was an enriching and eye-opening experience for the team to see the talent and enthusiasm in these students. They have energy, an eagerness to learn, and a desire to participate in new learning opportunities. This came out as a strong observation during the interaction in the program.”
MassMutual India hired 25 girls from TSWREIS in a recent hiring drive. These girls will serve as Analysts in the organization contributing actively to the business.
Yadhu Kishore Nandikolla, Head of Human Resources at MassMutual India, said, “It is a great initiative to partner with. We are extremely impressed with the knowledge and attitudes of the women students. We are proud to work with an organization that promotes talent from all facets of life. It was a humbling experience that we chose to make a difference in the lives of these students.”
After the association with societies like TSWREIS, Campus Outreach Committee has expanded its scope. Kartik Ayalh, who heads Campus Outreach Committee, said, “Taking this collaboration forward MassMutual India also signed on with the institute to provide internships, placements, and skill development training programs for degree students and ultimately aim to make them ready to be onboarded into the industry.”
Uma Devi Bollapally from TSWREIS who has joined recently, said "The work culture here is very favorable for one's growth. Right from hiring to onboarding, I am very glad to be part of the MassMutual India family. I have been in rigorous training where I get to learn a lot. I think this is the right place to satisfy my thirst for knowledge."
