Beware Spotify Employees, Jobs Cuts To Happen At The Company This Week

Amigst the tech layoffs happening since the beginning of 2023, Swedish music streaming giant Spotify has also joined the bandwagon. The music giant has expected to lay off employees this week amidst the economic slowdown.

And its not the first time that the music giant is layign off staff in the name of cost-cutting, in October 2022 as well the company reportedly shut down 11 original podcasts from its in-house studios,

According to media reports, this year the company has planned to cancel in-house studios Gimlet and Parcast were ‘How to Save a Planet’, ‘Crime Show’, and ‘Medical Murders’.
