Amidst The Layoff Spree, Pepsico To Hire For Its GBS Centre In Hyderabad

PepsiCo plans to expand its Global Business Services Center in Hyderabad; increasing the employee base to 4,000 employees in the next 18 months.

In Davos Summit on Tuesday, Telangana Industries Minister K T Rama Rao met Roberto Azevedo, Executive Vice President (Corporate Affairs) of PepsiCo, on the sidelines of the annual World Economic Forum. Futher to their discussion, Azevedo discussed the company’s scaling plans for his company in Telangana.

To the amazement of Azevedo, the minister assured that the State government would extend support to the company as it executed its expansion plans.
