Universal Sompo General Insurance Appoints Priti Singh As Chief People Officer

Universal Sompo General Insurance has appointed Priti Singh as its new chief people officer (CPO) with effect from 1 August 2024. With a distinguished career spanning over two decades, she brings experience in strategic leadership, talent management, transformation, diversity and inclusion, culture assimilation, and leadership development to her new role.

Prior to joining Universal Sompo, Singh served as the Head of People & Capability at Mastercard for seven years, where she successfully led HR functions across South Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She has previously held prominent positions including the Head of Human Resources for Asia Service Centres at Sun Life Financial and the Head of Human Resources at AXA XL.

In addition to her operational roles, she has served as a Director on the Boards of Mastercard Technology, Sun Life India, and XL India, demonstrating her leadership capabilities and strategic vision.
