OLA COO Vishal Kaul calls it quits

Indian cab hailing app is going through a major leadership change with the resignation of COO Vishal Kaul. His resignation was announced today. As per sources Kaul is in the process of moving to a new organization. In the meantime he will be replaced by Pallav Singh who is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of OLA. 

 

Commenting on his resignation and his plans for the future Kaul in a statement to the media said “I take great satisfaction and pride that I have been part of the journey where OLA has exhibited strong growth, improved profitability and gained significant market share.”

 

“While I am moving to another exciting career opportunity, I will deeply miss the OLA family,” he added further. 


In a statement to BW People OLA spokesperson said "Ola would like to thank Vishal Kaul for his invaluable contributions to the company. He has had a very good innings. We at Ola wish him well for all his future endeavours."

 

Kaul had joined the company last year in January, succeeding Pranay Jivrajika. In his previous assignment Kaul has worked with Pepsico. He has served as Vice President Marketing, Vice President Business Operations and as a General Manager for Thiland-Myanmar-Laos government. 

 


Kaul is an alumini of Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD. He has still not disclosed where he will be moving to next.
