Motion Education, a Kota-based coaching institute, has announced a business expansion strategy that includes an INR 10 million investment for the fiscal year 2024-25.
The coaching institute plans to open 100 new centres through franchising and hire more than 700 tutors to improve the teacher-to-student ratio. The investment will go towards integrating new technologies such as AI and smartboard technologies, as well as content creation and the development of teaching pedagogy, among other things. Over the last two years, the coaching institute has opened 45 new locations, bringing the total to 55+ locations in 15 states. The coaching institute is expanding its operations in North and Central India. 30+ centres will be established in South India as part of the phased expansion.
Speaking on the expansion, Nitin Viijay, the Founder & CEO of Motion Education, said, “Committed to providing the best to the students, we aspire to expand our presence across the country with the help of the franchise model. The business model is aimed at reaching out to a maximum number of students who are unable to relocate to new cities for medical and engineering entrance preparation. Understanding that the country has a lot of talent that might get wasted in the absence of proper guidance, we are resolved to support and ease their preparation with the help of the franchise model.”
The institute will fully manage the resources provided to the centres in order to assist students in achieving academic excellence with a proper focus on holistic development. From faculty selection to process streamlining, teacher training to study material provision, installation of technology and systems, and so on, all will be closely channelised under the direction of Motion Education.
