Blue Star Limited launches new range of products

In an exclusive interview with Blue Star Limited, Mr. Ajay Sharma, Vice President, Head, talks about the launch of launch of a stylish and differentiated range of residential water purifiers across various price points with RO, UV, RO+UV and RO+UV+UF technologies.

When he was asked about his cheapest product, Genia, out of all being available only on the internet, He explains that Genia has similar features and is priced similar to another product. Hence, to avoid channel conflict, Genia is available only online.

As regards to distribution, Blue Star water purifiers are already available in 125 towns with over 250 channel distributors/dealers including ecommerce channels and modern trade in over 2000 retail points. They recruited 400 consultants to inform the public about this new technology.

USP of the Blue Star Limited: New technology Immuno Boost Technology which not only removes diseases but provides alkaline antioxidant water that strengthens the defence mechanism of the human body. The purified water with Immuno Boost Technology helps in raising the pH, removes acidity and makes the water healthy. They also provide hot and cold water as per the choice.

Blue Star has launched a range of 35 models namely, with select models offering Immuno Boost technology. The range comprises nine series called Stella, Prisma, Edge, Imperia, Eleanor, Majesto, Genia, Aristo and Pristina.

They have also taken various initiatives and fun activities with children in school to teach them the importance of safe drinking water.

Their aim is to provide service within 4 hours, and 24 hour services for offices, and BPOs.

The Company plans to consolidate its presence in this segment with its enhanced range of products and deeper distribution reach in FY19 and is targeting to reach a market share of around 10% in about 3 years.”
